No, I still think its' amusing that a pair of democracies can't bear to admit they have been outvoted on a name for a sport, but since this discussion can only devolve into an example of "it is/it isn't" ad infinitum I decided not to let an opportunity pass to show my political "true colours" instead.

So when are y'all going to drive on the right side of the road, seeing how you've been "outvoted" on the matter?

So this is why William Dafoe wouldn't be in Boondock Saints 2.

I find it amusing that anybody cares what Americans and Canadians name a sport.

This looks interesting. At long last a vampire movie again that's not aimed primarily at the goth kid faction.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Given all I can see is a "red x", I have to go

Alright then let me try that again:

Since the last nation to change sides actually joined our camp, it may be a tad premature to surrender yet...

Anyway, I still have 34% of the world's population on my side - that's better odds than you Northamericanos have with calling Ice Hockey "Hockey". :P

I don't know about that.  Are you sure that India + you is more than 34% of the world's population?

Y'know, we probably also have the majority of native English speakers. People who speak other languages don't really have a dog in that fight.

Isn't it cute how Euros think because they can convince their former slaves to side with them it somehow makes them right?
