Fucking Iowa state liquor distributor has no Calvados this year.

Probably cheaper to buy online anyway.

I usually buy groceries online and the same shop has an excellent wine and liquor market also. Delivery is €1.

9 security guards at a Vienna shopping mall have been charged with statutory rape. Apparently they met a 13 year old girl regularly for sexcapades since last August in places in and near the mall. Both sides confirm that it was consensual, but the age of consent in Austria is 14 (with extra provisions if the person is not mature enough to understand the implications of having sex, or if a position of authority is exploited, e.g. teacher/student, coach/youth athlete).

The guys say the girl told them repeatedly she was 19 or 20. So now the courts need to figure out if this is true and believable, or if they're culpable.

I guess it's like with Traci Lords - she started doing pornography age 15, but she faked a birth certificate saying she was of age. So the people banging her on and off camera were "excused."

Prosecution will try to nail the suspects on contradictions and flubbing their testimony, whether the girl could pass for her supposed age, and if there was doubt, how much due diligence could reasonably be expected by them.

The "Traci Lords" defense
Right up there with the Roman "But I'm rich and an artist" Polanski defense.

The Brain

Reminds me of a thing in the 90s. In Sweden record producer and music industry manager Billy Butt was convicted of raping young aspiring female singers. The court thought that Billy Butt was too old and ugly to be a believable voluntary sex partner to the young women. Yeah no way he would hold other attractions to them. No Sir. The court had led a... sheltered life.
