That being said, I'm not for policing anyone else's language.

I sure hope negative language affects people - given that I don't physically beat my kid when he acts in an unacceptable manner, negative language is all I have left to modify his behaviour with, other than such punishments as removing privileges and the like.  :lol:

Know what? Sometimes kids behave poorly, including by being "bossy" - that is, ordering others about in an egotistical manner. Failing to correct such behaviour by using (among other things) negative language, may I suppose make them future "leaders", but in my opinion, it is more likely to make them future "insufferable brats".

I've a friend who a few weeks ago filmed a semi-amusing thing at St Patricks day in Tokyo. He got a few hundred thousand hits and contact from the media about it too.
