I am not surprised to discover you're not a fan of Cool Runnings :P

I actually was, before everyone jumped on the bandwagon.

  They have to jump on if they're going to get it up to speed.

I usually like some of the Olympics. The skiing and figure skating I probably like best. Bobsledding too. Team sports like hockey I don't much care for, but then I'm not a hockey or basketball fan anyways. I don't like seeing the professional stars playing in the Olympics either anyways.

That looks fucking awesome.

Do you also wear glasses with no lenses?

I have.  Well they had one lens.  The other fell out. :(
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

What is the name of that piece of navigation equipment that you use to look at stars and then plot a course?  Not an astrolabe.

Edit: sextant, nevermind.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.
