Good grief that was a strenuous before bedtime task, having to rebuild my mattress.  <_<

What's your mattress made out of?

Don't real people just buy them pre-made?

I don't usually like the cold, but today was absolutely lovely. Campus is deserted- out in the middle of the park I could hear nothing except squirrels, and the entire walk around campus I never detected anyone else's presence. I sat down and just enjoyed the serenity- and now that i'm back I have some tea getting ready to warm up from the excursion.

Growing up in a big city, i've seldom had an opportunity to feel completely alone except for animals. It was a beautiful experience.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

Did you take the opportunity to do some "nuclear physics"?

A while back, whilst getting to bed I thought, dang this mattress is getting uncomfortable, so I got up and at 3-4pm opened it up with a stanley knife and using a pair of pliers ripped out a couple of hundred large staples that were holding all the springs in place. I then replace the innards with a air mattress.

I haven't got around to buying a new mattress as this is the most comfortable thing I've slept on, save for a bed of gorse and ferns.

I've recently made a few more modifications and last night re-arranged it to more resemble a thick mattress.  So now I have a gutted mattress that contains two small air beds, topped with a 3-4" thick goose feather mattress, over all this I have a nice quality cotton topper which now holds it all together.  And it's jolly nice.

Sounds good, although I thought I was weird for throwing out my box spring.

Stopped at a gas station on the way back from the extended family Christmas party.  Usually when I use the crapper I buy scratch game as bathroom tax.  The one I picked happened to be a $10 game.  Bleh.
