Disney will lift the review embargo on Star Wars this Wednesday. That's the day I'll turn internet off until Friday.

I will post my extensive (one line) review Thursday night.

And I will make sure to post spoilers, maybe in random threads.  :P

That about sums it up.  Pretty heavy on the political undertones(well, not that under, really) too: "commercialization of space is evil", "Hawaii should be independent, even if that means being run by monarchist wannabes in muscle shirts".

My first thought was that it was a Bradley Cooper Cameron Crowe self financed vanity project.
This would be more accurate.

That didn't stop Almost Famous from being a good movie.  :hmm:

You disagree that it was a good movie, or that it was a vanity project? Wasn't it taken from the director's own life?  :hmm:

Bit the bullet and watched a couple more eps of Rebels, which happened to be much better. Will probably end up watching the rest now.

The highlights so far have been end of season 1 and the double feature starting season 2. The rest of season 2 so far has been "ok."

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
