Wonderful.

The Human Rights Council has been a joke for quite a while now.  Not that I don't value the input of Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Rwanda, China, et al on the subject of human rights, mind you.

While true I don't see any particular reason to voluntarily give up a forum to protect and pursue our interests.

IMO there's not much gained by staying.  I'd also say the same about leaving.

I don't disagree really, and this has been something I've bitched about before - how the UN has allowed this kinds of groups/councils/committee to be subverted to being nearly the opposite of their intent.

But I would much rather we had made a principled stand to leave them BEFORE we elected someone on the basis of his stated desire to engage in war crimes.

CdM white knighting for BLM bureaucrats is the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.  :D

Really? White knighting? Now Grumbler is using internet LOLZ troll bullshit terms now?

He accused me of the same thing a few years back.  Similar issue.  He must really, really hate federal land.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

White House budget blueprint calls for $54B defense bump, domestic cuts[/size

You're German, what's the German word they used for this back in the '30s?  "Mobilization"?

Quote"The President ordered a well-done steak. An aged New York strip. He ate it with catsup as he always does. The sides and appetizers on the table were shared. Three jumbo shrimp cocktails were delivered before the meal. At one point, the President looked at his watch and remarked, 'They are filming Saturday Night Live right now. Can't wait to see what they are gonna do to me this week.' It was hard to serve him because he is so funny and relaxed, it makes you laugh."

I have repeatedly read about Trump's preference for well done steaks.  This can not possibly be news.

We can't let this monstrosity become the new normal. It needs to be brought up regularly.

The man can probably afford some really, really good steak. But he shouldn't bother.

It demonstrates the depths of depravity that is Donald Trump.

Also, shrimp cocktails? I thought they were mostly phased out nowadays and considered seriously out of fashion.

 I think his surprise on how complicated and hard everything is, especially healthcare, is just about the only non-fake thing about him.
