And a look at the caption under the video and a quick Google on the man's name both reveal that this is a story from 2010.

CdM white knighting for BLM bureaucrats is the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.  :D

Really? White knighting? Now Grumbler is using internet LOLZ troll bullshit terms now?

Really?  You are so poor at reading tongue-in-cheek comments (with a  :D at the end to clue in even the slower readers) that you thought I was serious?

Not everything posted on languish is meant to be taken literally.

Can we not fucking pave everything, please? Fuck.

Yes, because the only alternatives are living in caves and paving everything, amiright?  Fuck.

Did you not just idiotically state that 11B wanted all land confiscated and have us all live in public housing? So don't start trotting out this garbage about how others are presenting false alternatives.

  Someone has sand wedged up in their rectum.  Seems to make you cranky.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying.  This stuff didn't come in with Trump.  "It seems like Obama has found his thugs," right?

It is concerning that many individuals are starting to make up reprehensible things as though we don't have enough reprehensible stuff that this administration is doing to point at.  Sort of like here in the UK, these two articles that I saw today (first about US and second about UK):

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/feb/26/grandmother-deported-from-uk-despite-being-married-to-briton-for-27-years

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/26/henry-rousso-french-academic-deportation-houston-airport

In both instances, sort of highlights media playing into the Trumpian narrative about bias. Fostering alarmism that is unwarranted in these instances.

QuoteGeorge W. Bush: Media essential to democracy

Former President George W. Bush on Monday said the media is an essential component to democracy, arguing it is necessary to hold the government accountable.

"I consider the media to be indispensable to democracy...Power can be very addictive," he told NBC's "Today" show.

The comments come amid increased tensions between the press and the White House.
On Friday, several news outlets were barred from a question and answer briefing with press secretary Sean Spicer.

President Trump, speaking earlier that day at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), attacked members of the press.

"I called the fake news the enemy of the people," Trump said. "They are the enemy of the people, because they have no sources. They just make them up when there are none."

Bush during his Monday appearance advocated for an independent press.

"We need an independent media to hold people like me to account," he said.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."

Oex and Viper sees those who disagree with them as evil.  I just see two sides of stupid.
I don't consider you evil.  Well, you disagree with everyone on everything, even when you are on agreement.  Maybe you are.  But I don't deal in absolute, so I would'nt say that. ;)

Ironic that you "don't deal in absolute" but argue that, since I disagree with you on something, i must "disagree with everyone on everything, even when you [am] on agreement."

You argue that "no President ever defied a court order, so why would it happen now?" which seems a pretty absolute position, given that we know from history that it is untrue.

The Human Rights Council has been a joke for quite a while now.  Not that I don't value the input of Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Rwanda, China, et al on the subject of human rights, mind you.

QuoteWhite House budget blueprint calls for $54B defense bump, domestic cuts

The White House will send its initial budget guidance to federal agencies at noon today, outlining a $54 billion increase in defense spending and corresponding reductions to most non-security agencies.

An Office of Management and Budget official told reporters this morning that the Trump administration will be proposing a 10 percent increase in defense spending and funding bumps for national security-related efforts. But that will mean cuts to domestic programs as well as foreign aid.

"This budget expects the rest of the world to step up in some of the programs this country has been so generous in funding in the past," the OMB official said.

Wait, what happened to the $1 trillion infrastructure program?

While true I don't see any particular reason to voluntarily give up a forum to protect and pursue our interests.

IMO there's not much gained by staying.  I'd also say the same about leaving.
