It is concerning that many individuals are starting to make up reprehensible things as though we don't have enough reprehensible stuff that this administration is doing to point at.  Sort of like here in the UK, these two articles that I saw today (first about US and second about UK):

White House budget blueprint calls for $54B defense bump, domestic cuts

The White House will send its initial budget guidance to federal agencies at noon today, outlining a $54 billion increase in defense spending and corresponding reductions to most non-security agencies.

An Office of Management and Budget official told reporters this morning that the Trump administration will be proposing a 10 percent increase in defense spending and funding bumps for national security-related efforts. But that will mean cuts to domestic programs as well as foreign aid.

"This budget expects the rest of the world to step up in some of the programs this country has been so generous in funding in the past," the OMB official said.
