The guy says in his pitch that every penny is getting refunded if they don't hit their goal.

It was still silly from you to contribute.

My niece's husband has shared this:

https://www.gofundme.com/TheTrumpWall

"We The People Will Fund The Wall"

$4,268,665 of $1.0B goal
Raised by 69,681 people in 3 days

Why did they set the goal at 1 BILLLLLLION dollars?  Should have done like $10 million to get started and then work from there.  They'll have to refund everything unless they hit that goal.

You're thinking of kickstarter. GoFundMe lets you keep the money even if you fail to reach the goal. Thus setting an impossible goal is actual a positive for grifting as much as possible

The guy says in his pitch that every penny is getting refunded if they don't hit their goal.

You can say all sorts of things.

At any rate, why donate if they don't know if they can handover the money?

They should use the money to build a symbolic wall around themselves to keep out the real world. :pink:

Oh he says so.  No worries then.

Gotta hand it to that guy, though. It takes real guts to pull off a heist like this in front of millions of people.

Trump inspires his followers.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I think the NCAA is going to have an issue with so many people giving money to Arizona's starting RB.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Trump removed Mattis two months early.

« One aide said that although Mr. Trump had already seen the resignation letter when he praised Mr. Mattis, the president did not understand just how forceful a rejection of his strategy Mr. Mattis had issued »

God, that's depressing.

It's a Brexit-Trump death spiral:

Our politicians do something stupid, like insisting the EU will change the agreement.

Trump ups the game by removing one of the last sane minds near to the nuclear button (codes)

I wonder what tomorrow will bring, Tory rebels voting with Corbyn's labour to bring down the government?   <_<

Minor quibble: Trump didn't remove Mad Dog, he walked out.

Yes, he preemptively resigned, effective February.

Trump reacted by removing him today, two months early.
