"You can't quit, you're fired!"? I'm sure none of his supporters thinks it's anything but normal.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, he tweets about Mattis.  My hunch is he will be mostly silent, or begrudgingly respectful.  He went through the motions with Bush Sr., and didn't talk any smack about Tillerson that I'm aware of.  I can see his attack dogs trying to do a number on Mattis though.

I think the one area in which Donald possesses intelligence is his survival instinct.  It's almost like he's playing a game in which the objective is to maximize the number of lies and boasts, piss off the most people, be the biggest dickhead he can be, and create the most chaos in the world, while still being a "success."

What?  I was unaware or had forgotten, and you reminded me.

I don't think it was your intent, but  just posting "K", seems a bit dismissive.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

Tanking the economy out of pure incompetence, classic Trump move.

Is that really a classic trump move?

I think this is his inaugural effort, unless I'm forgetting a previous time he tanked the economy out of pure incompetence.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Sending things he controls into bankruptcy certainly is a classic Trump move.  Some would say it is his only move.

The only problem The US economy has is the Fed. They don't have a feel for the Market, they don't understand necessary Trade Wars or Strong Dollars or even Democrat Shutdowns over Borders. The Fed is like a powerful golfer who can't score because he has no touch - he can't putt!

That's a magnificent impersonation, maybe some more random capitalization, yours is still vaguely rational.

Aha! It's magnificent for a reason, it was an almost exact quote. :P

QuoteChina's soybean imports from the United States plunged to zero in November, marking the first time since the trade war between the world's two largest economies started that China, the world's largest soybean buyer, has imported no U.S. supplies.
So easy to win.
