It was really bad in Salzburg area, and in Poland in Czech Rep. a total of 8 people died. Vienna had a total of over 200 registered lightnings within 90 minutes (1/3 of what we get in thunderstorm heavy months total), most of them between clouds, leading to a constant lightshow without the thunder. Streets were flooded and closed.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I gave away a thousand dollars today.  That feels weird.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny.
