Had a rather scary thunderstorm last night. It was like one endless lightning flash for over half an hour, low rumbling thunder all the time, and torrential downpours of rain and hail with visibilities under 100 feet and strong winds.

We have thunderstorms quite often in Kentucky, but almost never in Massachusetts.
