I will take that offer, and make a similar offer to Tamas.

She is already engaged.

Well we can get back to this on a later turn then. I will entrench myself against syphillis in the meantime. I suggest you withdraw your raiding unit on my girl, as the rules grant my defending guy an auto-kill.

I am surprised you are so resistant - what does it matter that you marry her in particular? She won't be un-married at a later turn either, and even if I withdraw, you are still wasting a hunter this turn that could be married instead.

On second thought, I would not mind marrying PeePeeLee

Berkut

I've placed my hunters/marriages where wanted. Habs needs to decide what hunter he wants to marry off though before we can proceed.

One of the hunters on the harp seals is fine.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I think we need to resolve the hunting step.

Went ahead with resolution and uploaded a file.

Everyone succeed in their hunts except for the whale hunters, who lost two groups of hunters and turned up nothing this year.  Hunting in the cold is harsh...

Over to Tamas for elder actions (I have none).

No elder action from me.

I would like to point out Habs that you are supposed to resolve hunts going from least number of cubes to most. eg. that makes it clear if I should get my one lost hunter back after the shark-attack (I shouldn't, as the Markland thingie happened first).

I'll get us back on the rails tomorrow.

The Mounder Minimum is the event for this generation--and just like the others, it's not a good one.  More cooling happens (sending the dogs and the caribou off to the cold side), a storm strikes (killing all of our mariners, preventing movement to the New World, among other things), and we have to pay energy or lose elders again.

The Norse pay to keep their Chief.  Over to Tamas/Berkut to pay for their elders or lose them.  Then over to Tamas to start hunting.
