Err, wait - I think I am Thule (Yellow) actually, not Tunit (Green) - so I placed the wrong cubes. I will upload a new logfile.

So yeah, I am the green Tunit guys. I am boating down the southern tip of the island to get me some pinguin eggs, while trying to invent myself a nice bow.

So now we can make deals, but I think its pretty moot at this point unless somebody wants to marry.

Why are there a bunch of my cubes on the Markland card, btw - are those colonists?

That's on, like, page 3 of the rules.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

To be fair we played two games without realising that

No negotiations with (different types of) heathens!

I am content where I am.

You are the invader on the island, in case you haven't got the memo.

IIRC from my reading of the rules, the Tunit and Thule are basically allies against the Norse, right?

I am pretty sure the idea is that this is like a WW2 game, where the Norse are the Axis and the Thule and Tunit are the Western Allies/Soviets. We are kind of competing, but mostly concerned with crushing the Norse more than anything else.

No in my reading the two of us are fucked being stuck on the same half of this desolate wasteland while the Norse have half of it for themselves.

Tamas

In typical Habbakian luck, he domesticated the Elkhound. Me and Berkut manages the inventions we were going for, and this is especially funny for Berkut, because he invented the harpoon used for the hunt of the exact whale species that replaced the item card on the "map". So nice coincidence there.
As for me, I got a nice hunting bow, but we still need to pay our iron to play them from our hands.

So on to elder actions.

Norgy

I really like the scenario of this game. Very interesting.

That's quite a long way south.

Habbaku

Only elder action I have is to domesticate the acquired Elkhounds for next turn (costing 1 energy).

Tamas, we may want to talk of marrying one of our lovely, Norsdottirs off in exchange for some firewood...
