Quote from: Syt on February 12, 2026, 09:14:39 AMI did learn that King Charles III is also officially the Lord of Mann which is a badass title.

He's reigning Mann? Hallelujah!

OK, that made me laugh.

See, this is the kind of gold you've been missing :D

I almost made the picture.  Half a meter to the right and I was there.
@Mongers: this is how you differentiate me and GreyFox.  You never see me  :D

And (almost) everyone on stage, I think:

It reminded me of the place I spent my 20s.  About the same size, dedicated to music shows, lots of people who knew one another and bumped in each other by chance.

Yet, Quebec city metro area is 840 000, closing quickly on the million (est. is 2036).  Always the big village, he :P

2nd half of my twenties (well, many of their Saturday nights at least) was spent in a similar venue. I miss that place, it had to relocate to a much more soulless location before I left Hungary and it has kept changing for the worse.

And/or me and my friends have become older.

Thanks for the photos Viper, looks like a nice friendly crowd and a good small venue.

crazy canuck

I get the worst fortune cookie messages.  Last Lunar New Year the message was "Don't walk alone in the dark".  Have the fortune cookie gods not seen me - I am the one people are afraid of in dark streets.  This year the message was "pay attention to lessons of the past".  The cookie gods really don't want me to walk alone in the dark!

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

YouTube is acting wonky, so that probably means WWIII is starting.

If you're talking about comments disappearing, turning off and then on ad blocker fixes that for one video.  I'm sure YouTube is hard at work fixing that.

DGuller

Oh, never mind, it's YouTube itself disappearing that's an issue.
