You will miss Japan Expo, near Roissy-CDG by two weeks.  :console:

Don't stay too close to Gare du Nord, if going there by RER.  :P

I would support the strike if it were limited to badly behaved tourists.

Merci beaucoup :D

It was only a 4 hour strike so tourists could still get a chance to visit, if only a bit more frustrated.

I had a long layover there last year, it was awful.  Huge lines for basic cafe and nothing else to do.  I heard many things closed and never recovered during Covid.

Why don't Italians get blamed along with the Jews for killing Jesus?

The Romans washed the hands of the matter. Bible was careful on that point. Don't want to alienate your potential converts :P

Because the Romans were the ones who blamed the Jews to avoid taking any blame themselves, and their blame-shifting worked.

Razgovory

It was probably this line:

So when Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves." 25Then the people as a whole answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!

Mathew 27: 24-25
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

You may have heard of people who think everything in the Bible is true.

Maladict

Besides, crucifixion was reserved for particularly heinous offenses, like murder or rebellion (e.g. Spartacus). Jesus was executed on political grounds, not religious ones.

As successful empire builders, Romans knew they had to appease every once in a while collaborators by offering them a token gift.  :P
