This article by the globe describes how Carney is a bit different and a bit the same as Trudeau regarding centralized PMO thus far.  I agree with the article that Carney is trying to move big and quick and that requires powering things through, at least for now.  I expect he'll evolve over time especially if (hopefully) the landscape stabilizes.

I really can't imagine PP being able to do this.

This project is shit.  It should be split in two.  Kudos to this MP for standing up against his own party and rightfully comparing them to the Cons of Ford for their behavior.

Yeah, a competent opening remark that can be expected from most any board chair, but unfortunately remarkable for a politician.

The Globe has a Liberal Party bias, and it shows at times.  They turned against Trudeau when he became too unpopular to insure the re-election of the party.  They were in awe before that.

They were always in favor of centralization in this country, except when it was done by Harper.

Carney will be no different than his predecessors.  He is grabbing power for the PMO, and he ain't letting it go.  This is Ottawa's power, not the provinces, not the First Nations, not the Parliament, not the citizens.

Trump magnanimity well rain down on us

I liked his desperately trying to correct himself even doing the hand gestures for the missiles :D

How would they do so if they can't get French versions? Are they allowed to relabel it themselves? Like stickers? Or just brown bag the package so no labels are visible?

Yes, even a sticker on the shelf might be enough.

Also, they need to adapt that their online stock isn't on display in their store.

Thanks. Seems like unnecessary restrictions but I guess if that what the voters want.

Dumb question maybe, but could they work around with a kiosk type situation? English "online" stock hidden away but a computer at the front where customers order and pay online for in store pickup? Or have legislators thought of that? :D
