Yeah scary stuff. The device detonated and caused property damage but thankfully nobody was injured.

edit, also reports that Carney has given notice to senior civil servants that if they do not take action to implement the governments agenda, they will be replaced  with people who will.  As a side note, the senior ranks serve at the pleasure of cabinet, so they can be replaced. 

Word on the radio is that we will soon see a list of projects of national importance released, and out of those, the ones reaching consensus quickest (least first nation push back?) will get shovels in the ground quickly. 

From perspective of stimulus to avoid recession, speed getting money out and workers employed is most important.

So basically I expect the no brainer like power lines, railways, port investments first, the more contentious projects like pipelines to come later.  But let's see... interesting times.
