In a similar vein, I made the mistake of peeking at the comments section of a news article about the "5 bullets" thing...full of expected "welcome to private sector standards"..."I work for a private business and do this all the time" kind of drek. 

The 'ol "I had/have to suffer...so you should too" argument is as old and pitiful as time.

They already are accountable to their bosses you idiots. And if it was a regular thing that they had to do this five bullet points shit they would be fine with it. And this kind of arbitrary idiocy does ruin private sector companies all the time.
