The worst part of it, is that the effort Mongers made to sort it out expended energy, so not sure it's a net positive even for the fixed clock on it's own.

So I'm bringing about the heat death of the universe sooner than otherwise?

How do you keep breaking so many wall clocks? :P

The ones in the Kitchen and Bathroom stopped within a couple of days of each other, the other was a clock in the hall that stopped a couple of years ago, but I wasn't bothered about; so an accumulation of ex-clocks.

It's ok, you have a clock on your phone, that's all you need now :console:

I like to keep a clock with hands on the wall, it confuses the student workers.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

If you really want to mess with them get a 24 hour clock.

A Man Utd player refused to wear a rainbow pro-LBTQ jacket on account of his Muslim faith so the rest of the team didn't wear it either. And even the LBTQ supporter groups are like "we understand his decision but are disappointed"

This is such BS. If a player cited his Christian fate or just secular convictions in not showing solidarity, there would be a massive outrage by these same groups. But because it's due to a minority religion'd backwards and discriminating views everyone is "well alright"

HVC

IIRC a similar thing happened with the NHL with a Christian guy and as far as I recall the LGTBQ community had the same reaction.

My work laptop is in the shop for repairs, so I'm using a replacement one in the meantime. First time with Win11 and ... I don't hate it?

Ok then. But that is still stupid. Imaginary beings shouldn't serve as excuse to discriminate people.

Doing that with Excel, snipper etc. Seems fine so far? At least not different to my experience with Win 10. What should I look out for?

I agree. Although corporate rainbow washing (or pink washing, or any other corporate  appeals) are kind of dumb in their own right.

That they cannot be separated on the tray. Infuriatingly annoying. You just cannot be as quick as with win10.
