I wanted Bobcat but then I remembered that neither count as big cats.

Surprising -  I saw a Lynx once in the wild driving back from a ski vacation.  That sucker was huge.

The lynx I saw along the Robert Campbell Highway was certainly larger than a housecat, but I wouldn't call it "huge".

This was a good 80-100-lbs

It was larger than our dog which weighs about 80.

Wasn't a Lynx then. Probably a mountain lion.

Mountain lions easily get up to 80-100 pounds. Lynxes are more in the 20 pound range.

Naw, this didnt look like a mountain lion or a couger, it looked like a Lynx only very large.
