Her moral authority is compromised, and it would be extremely difficult for her to control a class where everyone is snickering all the time-- sounds like one big continuous classroom distraction.  I just don't see her being a very effective teacher with that hanging over her head all the time.

It'd be a different story if she were a college prof (hell I'd bet some programs at certain schools might even require that experience).  But in a situation where she's having to teach kids, yeah I'd say she's unfit.

This would be an issue for about a week, and then the kids would move on.  Parents, though are much more self-righteous (see:  your post) and, I suspect, would not have the ability to move on.

That's kind of what I was thinking, too. There might be one or two kids who would continue to make an issue of it, but they'd find something else if not that. There are just those kinds of kids. But the adults.... Oy!

...She'd probably be a shoe in for one of those.

Unless she feels de-feeted.

Don't be a heel, grumbler. The woman deserves a toe-st for all that she's gone through.

Man that is pretty horrible.

I guess Rex Ryan will never be able to be a High School coach if this Jets thing doesn't work out now.
Did I miss something?

Not sure that I want to run a Goggle search on that subject.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Right, right.  We can trust adolescents to be mature and reasonable in a situation like this, can't we?

Funny how parents would have a problem with an ex-porn star as a teacher for their kid, yet their very same kid has enough porn stashed on his hard drive in their own home to start his own adult website.

But there's you usual parents for you.  ITS NEVER MY KID HES A GOOD BOY AN ANGEL ITS OBVIOUS THAT WHORE TEACHER IS OVERSEXUALIZING HIM

I watched some videos of her in action while I was eating breakfast this morning and I have to say I was pretty impressed.  I think she made a big mistake switching careers. :(

I generally defer to your experience in these matters, but my recollection is that if we, as kids, did get ahold of something that we knew would get under a teacher's skin, we would keep coming back to it time after time...

Derspiess, if you found out your wife did porn in her past would you divorce her?

Also, damn you punners.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

A quick google search and I'm not that impressed. She's all right, but by porn standards I dunno.

Dunno.  She'd turn out to be a different person than the one I knew if something like that came up, so I'd consider it.

It's not that they'll be mature, but they'll be bored.  People tend to get used to and desensitized to single person's nudity fairly quickly.  You already know what they look like naked, what's new?  In a week's time, they'll be searching the Internet for something fresh.
