I agree with most that the ruling went too far.

I gotta agree with Marti on this one.  I think a reasonable argument can be made that the school board was within its rights to fire her, but the court going beyond that and outright ruling that she's unfit to teach?  No, that's not a good ruling at all. 

This isn't a court, though, it is an administrative commission.  I agree that it is a poor decision, but suspect that it won't survive if there is a legal challenge.  I also suspect that this woman could never get a job teaching in California as a result of this series of events; what principal would want to deal with this kind of thing?
