A win for NL is a present for Germany as this means they will advance no matter the score with Denmark.

If Denmark wins with Germany, then Denmark and Germany will advance. If Germany wins its third game, then Denmark, NL and Portugal will be tied.

Apparently if Denmark and Portugal both win (2:1 in each case), Germany does not advance.

And tomorrow, as long as Croats tie with Spain 1:1 or more, they both advance and Italy does not even if it wins 10:0 with Ireland. I hope they have a deal. :D

HVC

Germany would still go through in differentials (they're plus two right now), but Portugal would go through.

Both Group A and Group B have been awesome. Thank you Europe. :)

Not +2, but +1, since they score against the Netherlands would not count - you are only looking at the score against countries they tie with in the table (new UEFA rules) and only if there is still a tie there, you look at the entire differential table (there are like 10 different criteria you go down through btw).

The results would be (as you ignore their results against the Netherlands):

Germany - Portugal 1:0
Denmark - Portugal 2:3
Denmark - Germany 2:1

They would all have the same differentials (0) but Portugal would have 3 for and 3 against, and Denmark would have 4 for and 4 against, so Germany with 1 for and 1 against would be third.

HVC

Germany beat Portugal so they're go through. Denmark or Portugal would need a 3-1 win to oust Germany.
