And it's only going to get worse when the next one arrives in June. :o

The wife is preggers.

And if I catch the bastard who did it... :ultra:

Yeah I'm happy I got the first before 30.

In our circle people seemd to have gotten them either like us, late 20s, or 5-8 years later, and it is those latecomers that suffer the most, and tend to be far more worried about everything.

I think their kids will grow into pampered and bullied little creatures :D

Life's small pleasures? On the current theme, not pregnant, never have been, never will be

Went for a walk over the Millennium Bridge at lunchtime and discovered what "love locks" are.

Googled "tickling a slow loris". Go on, you know you want to.

That was not exactly what I expected, but awwww!

Damn, Jacob.  Beeb just called you old.

When you're as old as I am you don't care if people call you old :)

If I might humbly make a suggestion...

don't put it off too long.  I think you're around the same age as me, and I'm already feeling kind of old to be a new dad.  Lots of people the same age as me have kids up to 10 years older, and I'm having to balance in my planning the fact that graduation and retirement will happen at the same time.

And it's only going to get worse when the next one arrives in June. :o

I'm aware of the dynamics, but ultimately the timing is primarily up to my wife (and she's 8 1/2 years younger, so she still feels she has time) :)

Sometimes I think how when my daugther will turn 20, I'll only be 46 & I freak out. Not even 50!

Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

I'm 41 and my youngest daughter just turned 16.

It's crazy! isn't it? You'll have grand children & you still have 10 years to go 'till retirement.
