Grey Fox

Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

It just asked me if my person was over 400,000 years old(!).  I already stated that it was a real person.  It was Sakir-Har an obscure Hyksos King.  It answered Rameses II, Akhenaten, and finally "Pharaoh".
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

It asked me out of the blue if the character was Norwegian. Fucker checks IP addresses.

I lost with Lincoln, King Olav and Halldór Laxnes. But I beat the game with Marvin Wiseth former mayor and George Clooney impersonator.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

It asked me if mine was British on the first one.  It asked if my guy had a beard twice, and once a really long beard.

Yeah that it does. It almost always asks me if the character is Polish within the first 3-4 questions.

Barrister

The thing thinks I'm American, and always asks if the character is American.

The thing was stumped by Barney Panofsky (had never heard of him) and Saint Timothy (though it got close, but never guessed the right saint).

Grey Fox

Is your character Male ? I don't know.
Is your character Real ? I don't know.

Is your character from Kentucky?

 It's going for Colonel Sanders.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Darth Wagtaros

It guessed Croaker of the Black Company.
PDH!

I think it does a lot better with pop culture figures than historical or literary ones.

I've tried this before and remember being amazed at it. This time....no. It just can't get David Beckham. Took 60 questions and a bunch of guesses
This seemed unlikely so I tested it and it took less than 10 :hmm:
He spoke to it in Geordie so it got confused.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Darth Wagtaros

It got Aunt Bee easily.

Eddie Teach

He got Santa easily even though I said he existed.  :)
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

The Minsky Moment

Guessed Keynes in 20.

Failed on: Piero Sraffa (guessed Gramsci which is sort of close); Joan Robinson (way off on all guesses); and Hyman Minsky (guessed Murary Rothbard(!) and Paul Samuelson).
The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists.

they got Herman Cain in 43 after guessing Obama and Colin Powell.
