While I carry a Mossberg M500 as one of my patrol long guns and like the modern SG's. I prefer my side by side 12 ga 3" Mag as mainline home D.

Rather elegant, harkening back to a more civilized age. :D

I will agree an SG is superior in the HD department when neighbors are close.

You need to chop that fucker down Mad Max-style, man.  If it's never going to leave the house, who cares if it's illegal or not.

And yes, Shottie over Handgun for home defense.  Although I answer my door with .357 tucked in the small of my back.  Unless it's 1am, and then it's no longer fucking tucked.

Wouldn't it matter when the po-po arrives at his place after he calls about removal of the body from his doorstep?  :P

Meh, here it's a citation under Game and Fisheries laws because it's a shotgun, not criminal code.

And if he whacks somebody in the house, that would be the least of his legal concerns.

True, he doesn't live in Texas, where it might well be the other way around.

If my shotty with 6 shells doesn't do the job in home defense, then I'm fucked pistol or no.

That and I'd likely vacillate between the old .38, the PPK and the Glock. WHICH ONE WILL I PULL OUT OF THE SAFE?

Yes, I have that choice every morning when I load up.

One must maintain multiple options.

Ed should mount multiple lock boxes throughout the compound, like little emergency armories.  IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS FOR GLOCK
