Oh... I'd not seen it at the gun store near me and since it's cheap I thought maybe they only carried it at Wal-Mart.

We used the same ammo in both the Glock and the Beretta, and like I said no problems whatsoever in the Glock.

Wal-Mart Federal 115 grain FMJ

They tend to be dirty. And have excess glue around the cartridge. Causes misfeeds for me in my 1911. the expensive stuff doesn't do that.

I'm thinking about this for Internal Security:

It's curious how both the overall and barrel length are just a hair over what it would take to get that firearm prohibited in Canada. :hmm:

FYI: My Colt Govt .45 will not shoot wolf ammo for shit. A box is usually good for 3-4 stove pipes. I avoid Wolf ammo at all costs.

Yeah Wolf 7.62 seems to cause a lot of stovepipes in my SKS as well, but that's the only gun I've ever fired it from.  Seems very dirty.

I tend to use Remington UMC in my sig at the range until I run out, then go to whatever no-name blank white box shit they have stuffed under the counter.  I've also used Federal in it a couple of times, but not a whole lot.  No problems with any of it so far.

I should get a double barrel and saw the barrels off.

You or your brother.  I mix you up occasionally.  Sometimes it's hard to remember which one is the smart one.

Do a search for "magazine" and "clip".  :P

I guess what I'm reading is that I shouldn't be concerned about my gun being a piece of crap, then?  Good, cause like I said it's really nice to shoot.  Also, it's beautiful compared to a Glock.

Not that that's difficult.  Glocks are butt-ugly- upper receivers are pygmies compared to the lower receivers and grips. :P

Not yet. Try some (quality) different ammo.

Place near Cal's = Bud's Gun Shop?

Oops, it's not that close to you.  It's in Versailles (I love the local pronunciation btw)-- Centerfire Systems.  It's still closer to you than it is to me, though.

Now if Bud had one of these actually "in stock" I'd consider stopping by.

It's a Yugoslavian M53, which is a copy of the famous MG42, converted by Century International Arms to semi-auto.  Bud has it listed in his catalog, but as out of stock.  Same with all the Saiga rifles, unfortunately.

Stands to reason.  The Glock will eat anything you feed it, from cheap crap to expensive +P+ ammo.

But Federal isn't bad ammo IMO.  Your Beretta should shoot any decent-quality brass-cased FMJ ammo just fine.  Perhaps the gun needs to "break in" a bit?  I'd definitely try some different ammo in any case.  If it happens again, consider returning it & don't put it off for too long.
