I think you guys are just being cruel. Gaddafi may have been a less-than-stellar man, but that's no reason to smear him further by implying he was friends with Blair, Schroeder and Berlusconi

You have to admire that guy, he just never gave up.  He still tried to escape despite being wounded in both legs.

That's nothing.  Back in 1963 soldiers were forced to shoot Diem as he tried to escape from the inside of a locked car trunk.

I feel I've been robbed of part of my youth.

I mean, throughout my entire life, Gaddafi's Libya was always *there*, you could always count on him saying something silly.

I saw that.  It was very uncomfortable viewing.  But I sympathise.  It's the same sort of conflicted feeling you get looking at the picture of Mussolini strung up.
