Same here. We've had a few showers, but overall rainfall has been low here in Virginia since last year.

It was really, really wet at the start of the year - so been a bit of a swing. Annoyingly even though it's dry not very warm and not really much sun. Just overcast all the time.

It rains a little, but it's mostly dark outside.

Add some fog, and it would look like most of England in movies and tv series, only a bit of sun here and there :P

Hail feels like it is an increasingly common feature in my area when rain is in the forecast.

Still extremely cold for this time of the year.  Usually, I would have my windows open by this time of the year.  I have the heat on instead.

Two days ago it was 30+, today it was 5+. Joys of may in Ontario  :D

I have been looking and tomorrow, we will be hotter not only compared to coastal Californian cities but also the desert cities inland.

Near one of the places I used to live in Mid-Wales has just recorded Wales hottest ever May day, which is a bit bonkers as it's up a small valley just a few miles from the Irish sea coast. So not somewhere you'd associated with 30+C spring temperatures.

We're getting unseasonably early 30+ days this week, too, but hopefully only a short spell.

The past decade or so has become a lot more windy in the area where I live. We've usually been sheltered by the mountain ranges and the forests. I do not place the blame solely on changing weather patterns, because a rise in lumber prices has made deforestation a more lucrative option. Those fields look like no-man's land from WWI photos. It is rather depressing.

Early May was warm, now it is middling at around 14-18 Celsius. Showers and sun makes for great weed growth in my garden.  :glare:

I see the Climate Change Committee has now recommended that UK starts adopting/tolerating AC because (as their name indicates) climate is changing.

Mentioned it before but I find Euro-opposition to AC mad given what's happening. Especially as as far as I can see it's based mainly on aesthetics while WHO estimates around 1-200,000 Europeans (overwhelmingly elderly or vulnerable) die every year from heat.
