I wouldn't be surprised if most steak shops up there don't even carry Swiss.  Don't be That Guy. :)

OTOH the next time I'm in Chicago I think I'm going to ask for ketchup for my hot dog. :showoff:

I went to Philly and was all "man, gotta try on of these famous cheesesteaks with cheez whiz!"

Jesus fucking Christ that was gross. Cheez Whiz? Seriously? WTF is that stuff even made out of - oil byproducts or something? Plastic?

The steak and cheese sandwich I get at the mall here in Rochester (Charley's Steakery - yum) was much, much, MUCH better.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

You gotta be kidding me. I thought they used real cheese on those.

I think so. All I know is that the thickener or whatever that they put in it, if you get it on your clothes it will not wash out. Ever. I have a good friend who works at the Kraft plant here in Champaign.

That's one of 3 choices I think, the others are American cheese and Provolone IIRC.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

So only one real cheese out of the three.

Cheez Wizz is only good on Brocoli anyway.

I am trying to think of some application for Cheez Wizz where it would not be better to just put actual cheese on whatever it is you are using the Cheez Wizz for.

Nothing is coming to mind.

When a spreadable cheeze like substance is required? On toasts?

You're supposed to toast it with the cheese on the bread in a toaster oven.

Really? I'll have to try that. I don't own a toaster oven tho.

Barrister

We got rid of the toaster oven.  Too many kitchen appliances, we hardly ever used it.
