I'm done. fuck y'all! Fuck working. labor day weekend is a good stopping point.

I can now pursue gentlemanly pursuits, such as teaching in a CC, religious insanity and chasing 20 year old tail.

I hope your retirement money has been invested in gold.  :bowler:

I bought some gold at @ ~1500 or so, but I've never been a huge fan of precious metals. I'm not Raz irrational about gold, but that bubble will burst eventually.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

While Connery is usually great, I don't care for woman beating. It is one of the buttons that make me get pissed. Fast.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

You should get one of these, now that you have more time.

For those who had September 16th in the pool as the first day I'd get really bored, you win the prize.

I could have told you retiring to your estates after the purges was not a great idea.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Retirement in Ohio  :hmm:

I mean what can one do there? Drive one of your cars to an enormous car park, pop into the mall and buy more consumer tat..................I suppose  :hmm:

Now, the cultivation of cabbages, there is an interest that might satisfy a man of Ed's ilk
