Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds sucks.

It's "These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise", not "starship Warspite".

And I love Jeff Wayne's War of the Wolds.

Are you sure that Victory doesn't rate a mention?
Yes.  Victory did nothing special.  Of course, it is hard to stand out when one sails in a fleet of dozens of ships, but there you have it.

Enterprise had several famous starships named after her.  Someone had to say it. So there.

Yamato had that too. Except in anime. I don't know what that means.

Meh, Yamato didn't do jack shit except get sunk fairly easily.

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

You're asking which is the most legendary though, not which accomplished the most through its own power.

I don't think I would try and tell grumbler what he is asking.  Just a thought.   :secret:

That's why Martinus, for all his spending on the trappings of wealth and taste, will never really have class.  He's just trying too hard to be something he isn't (an intelligent, tasteful gentleman), trying desperately to hide what he is (Polish trash with money and a severe behavioral disorder), and it shows in everything he says and does.  He's not our equal, not by a mile.

Because the music is awesome. :contract:

That's the first time I've actually seen the opera, had only heard the music before. Don't see what's so bad about it.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Heck, Warspite isn't even the most legendary British warship of WWII.  I'd put both the Ark Royal and the Hood at least ahead of her, maybe others.
