You are not. You are subbing to HD channels, You have the non-HD as a gift.

Yeah...not sure how that will work.

I have two tvs, one hooked up to an HD box, the other not. I imagine if I sub to, say, TSN, I would get TSN HD on the one TV and TSN regular on the other. We shall see. Never thought of that.

It's all based on the terminal/box you have hooked up to the TVs.

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

In the case of Videotron, they ask that you pick a bigger package for your HD tv, than they give you non-hd terminals for free, I think.
With Bell, I think they don't have the non-HD terminals anymore.

you don't like Vampire Diaries?  How come?  Loveable vampires, werewolves, witches and confused teenage girls? What's not to like? :)

Ugh.  That show is unbearable.  My wife watches it from time to time.  I have to leave the room to avoid the horribleness.  Every character is stupid, the writing insipid and it's not well done at all.  The stupid people encounter the supernatural in high school genre is utterly worthless.  I'd rather go drown myself in a morass of shit and used condoms down at the water treatment plant.

Looks like we have a Free Trade agreement with the EU.

How fuck are how cheese producers?

I'm sure that the treaty will have all sorts of EU nonsense in it, and we'll have to reject it.

Canadians rejoice!  Quebec's human Rights Commision slams the PQ's proposed Charter.

It's time the government stop diddling and use the notwithstanding clause. <_<

How fuck are how cheese producers?
The small ones won't see any effects.  Our fine cheeses are already as good as any european ones.  Their biggest danger comes from our own provincial government, and their dislike of crude cheese.  The industry has been hit quite severly in the last few years, the cheese burning incident nearly destroyed it, and since then, they face heavy competition from European cheese makers - whose cheese are allowed here even if they have more bacterias than our own - and American cheesemakers (Maine, mostly, they took the opportunity to developp their own industry and serve the needs of New England market instead of us).

The ones that will face difficulties are the big cheesemakers like Saputo.  They have tried making finer cheese in recent years and they have somewhat succeeded.  However, we're far, very far from the artisan producers.  In face of European cheeses at decent prices, most consumers will opt for the Euro instead of Saputo.

But overall, this is good.  Meat producers will have new markets (veal, beef, pork, lamb, etc) in Europe and other industries may profit from this.  The ncrease in non-tariffed exports is about 4,2%, not enough to cause serious trouble.  If the Quebec government stops fucking with our industry, there shouldn't be any significant impact.  Crude milk cheesemakers might be affected though, since their industry has been rendered near non-existent.  But others will be allright.

Despite what the PQ might say, this deal is pretty good for Quebec.  When we signed NAFTA, lots of doomsayers told us our province would be fucked, our unions would disapear, our farms would shut down faced with American competition.  Yet, none of this hapenned.  So, let's stop playing the victim here and embrace this opportunity for what it is :)

Not sure if you are trolling or if you are really that uninformed.  The notwithstanding clause relates to the Federal Charter of Rights and Freedoms.  The Human Rights Commission is a Provincial body which derives its authority entirely from Provincial legislation enacted by the Province of Quebec.  This is essentially Quebec telling itself what we have been telling you all along.

So, the project as it is will be against our own laws, will be against our own values as embraced in the past by René Lévesque (was he a traitor to his cause?), but nevermind, let's go ahead with the project as it is?
Don't you find this a little silly?  Every lawyer in the governments tells your party it's project is far too over-bearing, yet you want it?
And at the same time, while you dislike muslims, your own party has changed the rules of immigration so that only people from Maghreb are now automatically admitted?

At some point you have to make a choice on the immigration you want Gral.  French speaking immigration is hard to come by.  French, Belgians and Swiss don't really want to come here to worsen their conditions, so they're hard to attract.  Changing one socialist country for another where the wages are lower, most make the choice to stay home.

Now, Tunisia, Algeria, Morrocco, Haiti... these aren't exactly countries with high standard of livings compared to us.  So, we want well educated french speaking immigrants, as opposed to, say, hard working but barely educated latin americans who could learn the language here, guess which ones your government as chosen?

And now you tell these people that you don't want their values, you don't want their religion, you don't want them here.

Aren't you going a little too far as well as sending mixed messages?
