How did this go from a discussion of the capitalization of financial institutions in Canada to the failure of American retailers in the Canadian market?

I feel like Canadians on this forum love to talk about the demise of Target.

Vegetables, fresh meat, milk, eggs, etc.

I didn't say they don't carry it,  said they do not all carry it.  Like the Wal Mart in my city does not have that.  They have biscuits, candies, canned soups, etc, but no refrigerated stuff.  They had ample opportunities to expand, more than once, and chose not to.  It's not because there's too much competition either, we're down to 1 grocery store.  Well, technically two, but they both are owned by Metro under different banners.

I worked with someone who was on the logistics team for the implementation. He was one of the dumbest people i ever met. Which goes some way to explaining things :D
