Entourage- I expected something different from the movie, but it really is just a elongated episode of the TV series. Which isn't a terrible thing. Though I do get a huge sense of deja vu, they barely mention Medillon despite it being relevant to the plot.

No Escape. That was intense.
Especially the part where the parents have to hurl their little girls from one roof to another.
Maggie. How do you make the zombiepocalypse boring? Start by pussing out on the virus, having it take months to take effect. Then make a movie entirely about a father trying to come to terms with the fact that he's going to have to "kill" his daughter when she turns.

Wild Orchids. Greta Garbo tries to fend off the advances of a Javanese prince, with no help from her oblivious husband. It was entertaining.

The whole series was a shitfest.

The sons of Katie Elder. Charming western directed by Henry Hataway. Four estranged brothers reunite for the funeral of their saintly mother, and start digging into the circumstances of her death (and the disappearance of her money), while building back their relationship. Two of those brothers happen to be John Wayne and Dean Martin, so it's pretty awesome.

I'm kinda liking Fear of the Walking Dead, starting a bit slower than I expected in the action department it makes sense. Something tells me it will speed up real soon.

Haven't watched it in ages. My only memory is that as a kid I loved the brawl at the start of the movie.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

The Bridges of Toko-Ri. A rare Korean War film shot at the time of the conflict. It depicts life in an aircraft carrier (and in Tokyo while on leave) on the eve of an important bombing run deep in Best Korea. It's more of a character study of the people in the carrier - sailors, airmen, and officers - than a "regular" war film, and thus it's a little boring. However there's aircraft carrier porn aplenty, and lots of authentic Korean War materiel.

One question about the Toko-Ri movie, did the North Koreans not take POWs?
The ending of the movie shows the main character being killed by the Popular Army after he's downed during the bombing run and a rescue attempt is botched. Is that historical or just "evil commies" propaganda?
I'm liking it. A slow start which I was ok with as I expected it to start during the beginning of the outbreak and will show how it all progresses and how the characters deal with it.

Started watching the 'The Borgias', the 1981 series not the recent one; it's aged relatively well, not up to 'I Claudius' quality, but pretty good.

There are two recent ones. One with Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo, the other with the captain from The Wire(who is more believable in the role IMO).
