Having watched season 3 to its finish, I gotta say Arrow has exhausted its premise.

Of that universe, I'd like to see Flash, Atom
(presuming he is not dead)
, Malcolm and Felicity Smoak (presuming she gets over Arrow and starts being smart again) but I'm over Oliver Queen or John Diggle.
He's alive.  I take it you haven't seen the trailer for Legends of Tomorrow?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MubNoWQiSc
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

This guy is in his 70s, but the rest of the cast is still in his 50-60s, Fox will relish the chance to get 20 more years out of them.

Do people still watch that show?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

OMG second episode of Penny Dreadful.

This is one of my favourite shows on tv right now.

Had I mentioned that Fury Road was awesome? If not, well, it is.
Grand Duke of Lurkdom

Just got back from watching Ex Machina with the wife. Thought it was very good, if a little predictable.

Julie did not like it - said it was boring and would make a better book.

That's about right. You can see the wreck coming, but it's still neat.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Mad Max was amazing. A+

Mad Max Fury Road

Nice to watch a movie that relies more on stuntsmen than CGI programmers. :)
Best Mad Max is still Mel Gibson but Georges Miller still knows his game.
Watched all four movies on the big screen though I started with the third, nearly 30 years ago.  :Embarrass: First one used to be banned to people under 16 or even 18...
As a matter of fact, no recent screening of the third, unlike the previous ones, in cinemas for some reason, despite the release of Fury Road.

Thunderdome is a turd of a movie.

Me too...

Favorite is Road Warrior though.

Admiral Yi

Mad Max is too damn slow.

It does alright till it turns into Peter Pan.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
