my thoughts too.  but I wonder if they aren't aiming at a different demographics by using Netflix as a distribution platform?

Ide probably hasn't seen John Wick yet. 

It's only out on Feb 3--next Tuesday--and I am very excited about it.  I feel bad for missing it in theaters.

I was considering buying the digital copy blind, since it's already out, but given the reception it's had, I get the distinct feeling I'll want it on blu-ray.

It's been long since the last decent western, and I like westerns. I just can't see how can they possibly get near the strength of the original cast, though.

True Grit remake was supposed to be pretty great wasn't it?

Agreed on that. I'm liking Arrow, SHIELD, and The Flash which I didn't think I'd like that much at first. I haven't really watched Gotham much though.

Yeah, the remake is certainly a good movie taken on its own terms, but True Grit wasn't a movie that needed to be remade.
