Also, I don't really buy into the premise. Humans are very resilient creatures, those who still couldn't deal with the disappearances after three years would be the exception rather than every single character in the show(with possible exception of the mayor).

there's clear direction, though. it's a slow burn, but it's leading somewhere. disagree on sense of danger and engaging characters.

i buy into the premise. this isn't like a plague hit the earth. a plague is understandable. first episode you have some scientist making some feeble attempt at that same argument. what happened here was flat out unknown, and it's left the world confused. this can lead to some pretty drastic circumstances, which we're seeing in the show
