The new demographics matter.  Spics over Chics, 1-0.

Quote@MAX (channels 429SD and 929HD), which currently features contemporary movies, will become MAX Latino, a Spanish language version of the Cinemax main channel (420SD and 920HD), with hit movies, original series, and more

WTF, the beaners already got a channel.
"there's a long tradition of insulting people we disagree with here, and I'll be damned if I listen to your entreaties otherwise."-OVB

"Obviously not a Berkut-commanded armored column.  They're not all brewing."- CdM

"We've reached one of our phase lines after the firefight and it smells bad—meaning it's a little bit suspicious... Could be an amb—".

The commercials for that channel gave me a stroke.

Neil called this: Fuck, one decent TV show on network tv

http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/04/30/nbc-station-hannibal/

EDIT: No, wait. I read that wrong. It's just one station so far.

A single NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City is taking the show off the air.  Instead Hannibal will be shown on a CW affiliate.

Big whoop.

Read my last line. ;)

Women's programming.

HEY NOW

I like my chick movies. I want to see Random Hearts, not Azar Corazones

Giving them their own channel makes them think they are people too.

The first of many.  That said, the station is run by the Mormons, and is thus incapable of not being stupid.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Watched some TV as I was down with the flu for almost a week.

Burn Notice:
Thought I'd watch a few episodes as it has Bruce Campbell in it, but he can't save this pile of crap.
Those two leads display the most wooden acting this side of Keanu Reeves, just incredible.

2001:
It's still awesome. I was surprised how well the special effects are holding up even today. Miniatures ftw!

Game of Thrones season 2:
Pretty decent, I never read beyond the first book so I don't know how it compares.

Breaking Bad, season 1:
Kept falling asleep during ep.2, I can't get into this. Does it get better?

Top Gun:
Haven't watched it since it came out on VHS . Changed channels when people started talking, just to be safe. Pretty cool 5 minutes, though.

edit: awkward typo.

The advertisement for Lars Von Trier's new movie has started, it'll be an 8 month long campaign. The cast includes Stellan Skarsgård, Shia LaBeouf, Uma Thurman, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe, and according the Lars himself it won't be very suitable to masturbate to.

No dying baby scenes this time around? :bleeding:

You have to be the first person I've met who enjoyed 2001 but found Breaking Bad boring.

If the internet taught me anything, it is that someone, somewhere, is likely masturbating to that.  ;)
