This is true.  They were looking pretty haggard as the season kicked off, though.  Obviously Rick had had enough of canned dog food through the winter.

That was one seriously hardcore episode, though.

Bit of a tearjerker.

They killed the only black guy...but at least they had an immediate replacement.  Plus a central casting leftover from "Gods and Generals".

And they solidly endorsed the hard-line pro-life position to abortion.

They are akin to the ensign in the red shirt.

the Walking Dead episode was surprising. Was expecting just a typical mid-series adventure but they go and kill off some cast members like that.
Killing the black guy and replacing him with a new more interesting one does feel kinda weird though.

I still kind of hope colonel convict ends up being a psycho.

Zombies is very good this season, which nicely offsets boardwalk empires decline (iron to the face not withstanding)

Agree about Boardwalk. It's become a bit of a struggle to sit through.
