A Serious Man, by the Cohen brothers.

Hmmm. I dunno about it. Good acting, good cinematography but I overall I couldnt get myself to care about any of the characters.

6 depressed joos out of 10.

Playing Defcon made me pull out some good'ole Dr. Strangelove, which the full version can be found on youtube.

Firefly. Excellent show, shame it ended so early.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Concur. The story seemed too contrived and improbable.

That usually happens when the movie is based on a real story.

So looks like AMC's The Killing has been renewed for S.2.

Anyone still watching this? I am, although I find the pacing is a tad slow. Last week's episode, though nicely played between the two major protagonists, had little to do with the main plot line.

I'm still watching it.

Finished Strawberry Panic!. A nice yuri melodrama that is self-aware. I enjoyed it more than I expected.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

I'm still watching it.

I have a crush on the redhead cop. The show is pretty haunting.

She actually looks good cleaned up.

One more episode of The Killing left now; and it looks like we know who the killer is. Spoiler, sort of: In a way, it makes sense, as there had to be a connection between the two plotlines (murder and politics).

white on grey is legible.. we need a <spoiler> tag
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Josephus

Well, it's a mild spoiler. But I agree about the spoiler tag.

Maybe it's a resolution thing, but while I can read it if I really strain myself, it's certainly not readily legible.

And if you're curious enough to really look close enough to be able to read it, you're going to click the spoiler tag aswell.  :hmm:

Slargos

Here's an idea though:

Make a SPOILER thread and post whatever spoilerish you need to there, then link to the individual post.

Presto.
