I'm watching Ice Station Zebra right now.

lol, me too.  Total classic.

Sucks movie sucks.

The Thing, for great arcticness.

The Thing has neither Jim Brown or Soviets.

It may not have Jim Brown, but the entire movie is a metaphor for communism.  :hmm:

So are you trying to be stupid, or what?  Also, the Thing does not take place in the arctic.

Nah. I just don't like it.

It's been years since I saw it the first time and I recalled enjoying it then, but when I tried to watch it again I couldn't get past the typical 60s stilted acting.

I expected you to say it was a metaphor for Jewry.  Would've lost money on that one.

Communism is just another facet of World Jewry. Potaytoes, potahtoes.

The Caine Mutiny is coming on.  For such a cast with Bogart and Ferrer and MacMurray, it's all weighed down by that plastic of all plastic Ken dolls, Robert Francis.  Gack.  What a cardboard cutout.

I just really wish they played The Bedford Incident more often.

I'm watching Buck Rodgers on Retro TV. The princess..... :perv:

Party Down, season one. Not bad. Not great either, but with some moments.

Kill The Irishman.

middling crime flick about Danny Green and the Cleveland mob wars in the 70's. sounds like Belfast jr, that era of Cleveland. also Val Kilmer waddles through the odd scene  (Good to be a large mammal indeed there Val/Jim.) and does the odd bit of dull expository narration. Some good action in a few scenes, but the movie lacks any kind of style really. High end movie of the week kind of thing.

5.5 bombs going off in caddies every week or so outta 10
:p

Agreed, not very good. Cast list 8/10, movie 3/10. TV quality.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Concur. The story seemed too contrived and improbable.

Animal House 9/10

Always great :)
If you let someone handcuff you, and put a rope around your neck, don't act all surprised if they hang you!

- Eyal Yanilov.

Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life. Do not be concerned with escaping safely - lay your life before him.

That usually happens when the movie is based on a real story.
