Wanna share?  :P

As a little kid he begins slaying encomenderos and such for oppressing the natives, and a dying priest calls him "El chico sin amor" (in Spanish), and hence "Namor".

The Larch

True, my eyes rolled immediately after reading it.

That sort of thing is traditionally a big problem with comic book films - comics were often originally created with little thought to be aimed at regular  kids in a pre Internet age and are so incredibly silly.
In this case Namor is simply Roman backwards.
Where marvel has done well with the mcu is sidestepping this sort of thing and being grown up without being overly serious and completely flying against the source material.
Now however they do seem to be sliding back towards this problem zone. As they scrape the barrel they're going to come up with  ever stupider stuff.

Though. One good thing the film did do- Riri (silly name though). Japanese mecha looking iron man was cool. With her and touisannt marvel is showing how they can reuse heroes in a decade or two.

I'm personally more curious about how, when the time comes, they'll manage to introduce the X-Men and other mutants in the MCU. How will they justify them being completely absent from the universe until then? The Fantastic Four present a similar problem, albeit in a smaller capacity.

Yeah.  The lack of super powered types has been a problem for a while.

The comic book Civil War made sense. Hundreds of capes flitting around with little regard for the law or collateral damage. The movie version less so.
PDH!

I do think we have seen xmen hints. Obviously xavier directly appearing. But nemor mentioned he was a mutant. I'm sure some others too.
But yes. They're a problem.
Really imo xmen are absolute top of the list for a comic that absolutely shouldn't be in the same mcu. It just makes no sense that they're this marginalised hated group whilst other super heroes are feted.

The fantastic four... Meh. I don't see much of an issue there. Easy enough to create a new hero by having their accident take place now. The only stand out oddity is why Reed Richards wouldn't have been involved as a support character for previous heroes with his comic science ability.

In the comics Wanda and her brother are Magneto's children. In the MCU they gave them some anonymous parents that died in a war, but I suppose they could easily reconcile that.

By all accounts, they don't seem to be rushing to bring the X-Men into the MCU. None of their announced projects for the next 2 years (besides Deadpool 3, which is not in the MCU I think) have any connection with the X-Men on a surface level.

In fact they even had Quicksilver in some of the X Men movies set in the past, and acknowledging that he's Magneto's son. There's no Scarlet Witch in the X Men movies, though. It's also quite curious that Quicksilver was, I believe, the first "big" name character they killed off for real in the MCU.

I believe that Deadpool 3 is actually going to be part of the MCU, and it will feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but it's such a meta film that they can take plenty of winks and nods at the issue. Or maybe they can even use it to introduce them via Deadpool handwave.

With She Hulk the MCU has already established it can go super meta. Add in the multiversal stuff going on...and yeah. Seems likely Deadpool 3 will touch the MCU though probably not a full MCU film.

I'm pretty sure Deadpool 3 is going to be a "full" MCU movie.

Although with all the metaverse stuff they're doing now that term has grown pretty vague - remember we had Patrick Stewart play Professor X in Dr Strange - but from an alternate reality.

Emily the Criminal.  Aubrey Plaza works a shit gig economy job and tries to pay off student loans.  She can't land a decent job because of two felony convictions.  She gets involved credit card fraud and things spiral from there.  A dark, anxiety provoking, depressing movie.  Everything turns from shit to shittier.  There are no laugh lines or smile moments in this flick.

Aubrey Plaza is Aubrey Plaza hott, which is decent in my book.

MH370: The Plane That Disappeared.  I've soured on documentaries in this age of clickbait nonsense, instigated by that nefarious fat idiot Michael Moore, but this one I rather liked.

What is a conspiracy theory and what is a good faith effort to solve a mystery?

The Malaysians come off looking very good IMO.  Always soft spoken, always considerate of the victims' families, not afraid to say they just don't know.

Of the presented theories I like pilot murder suicide the best.

It's a three parter.
