His trips to foreign countries were great.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Domina. It's pretty bad.

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

Along with PimpBot 5000, Ginger, No!, Hannigan the Traveling Salesman, Slipnutz, Walker Texas Ranger Lever, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and many others I'm not thinking of.  He's been the funniest thing in Late Night for the past 30 years, apart from Craig Ferguson's 10 year stint.

DS9 "Hard Time". O'Brien is accused of espionage by some deranged alien race that sentences him to jail, which he serves in super-compressed time, so even though he spends just a few hours in confinement, he experiences it as 20 years in the slammer leaving him deeply traumatized. Another great "let's fuck with O'Brien" episode. Those are usually among my favorites of each season.

I think the "O'Brien must suffer" episodes work so well, because Colm Meany is an excellent actor.

Also, I love the friendship between him and Bashir. Them drunk singing "Jerusalem" is a highlight of the series.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

He has the necessary common man relatability that makes those episodes tick.

Domina. It's pretty bad.
I had hopes for that :(

It's probably entertaining enough in a GoT kind of way. Just don't expect any depth.

Horizon Line. On-off couple find themselves on a plane above the Indian Ocean, sans pilot. It's fine for what it is, but it's not as good as Open Water.

Oh I quite liked Domina - but it does very much fill the GoT hole on schedules.

Well I'm angry.
I plan to indoctrinate my kid with the proper level of appreciation for public transport so looked up Thomas online..
And what the devil. It seems they've dubbed over the whole thing with some soulless generic American voice over in place of Ringo Starr.
I wonder if it was always so in the US or is this new?

Started watching season 5 of DS9. Odo is now a solid, which is an interesting turn for his character but also a way to save on SFX, I presume. The list of recommended episodes on mashable grows longer each season, which is testament how the show steadily improves throughout.

Just watched the episode of Bashir and Jake at a field hospital and I see that "let's give Jake life-scarring trauma" is another DS9 tradition. The season 4 episode where he sacrifices his adult life in an obsessive search to bring his father back after Sisko becomes "lost in time" was weird and good.

Next up: Tribbles and Tribble-ations!

It's weird to think but the simpsons has been going so long that had they aged Bart would be homers age now... Older even.

Yup.  In the episode I Married Marge it shows Marge getting pregnant with Bart in 1980, which would make him 42 by now.  (I just watched this one a few days ago)

Wait a second, my mother was pregnant with me in 1980 and I'm only 39.  Fuck, I'm actually three years older.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
