Warhammer is getting its own streaming service.

What the hell? 1990s me would be so confused by the future.
Yeah.  Another streaming service? Blagh.  They should use it to get fans, not try to leach off existing ones.  How much could they possible charge for this?
PDH!

In the grim darkness of streaming, there is only war.  :nerd:

I mean. It'd be OK if there was at least one decent warhammer film.
There isn't.

I've given thought to checking The New Girl because Zoey Whatshername is so frickin cute.  Watched a youtube clip and was disabused of that notion.  It's a throwback humor free old style sitcom, like Two and a Half Men.

I'm giving up halfway through Army of the Dead.  It's a bad movie.

Yeah it is definitely an old school sitcom. I really liked it ten years ago but I don't know if I could still enjoy it today.

I am not satisficed with this millennium.  I would like to return the unused portion for a refund.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

This is odd. They talk about a "major VOD provider" in the article, so maybe they're just getting some custom app with lots of skulls and spikes but the catalog will be bundled with somebody else's.

I'm watching TNG for the first time since the 90s and quite enjoying it.

Wow! I do feel kinda old then! I used to watch that show all the time, along with all the Star Trek spin offs - DS9 was a favorite. I sometimes watch old Voyager shows when I find them. DS9 on occasion though haven't seen that around very much.

Yeah - it sounds like they'll be developing some content for a subscription channel on Amazon or some other platform. Maybe like Starz or Hayu on Amazon?

Mare of Easttown is really excellent. Strongly recommended and Winslet deserves all the praise she's getting for her performance.

I've been watching that, a really good show.

I just finished watching the last episode of "The Secrets She Keeps". An Australian show, first season, only 6 episodes and I don't know if there will be another season. If so it'll likely be with a new story line and cast as this one pretty much ended. It was a good show though.
