My favorite Eurovision memory was the ride home one year from friends when we still did watch parties (something that fell asleep years ago): on the subway was the very drunk Danish national rugby team, regaling everyone with dirty English drinking songs. :D

Yaaaaaay!

The annual Popbitch Eurovision guide is out:
https://popbitch.com/the-popbitch-guide-to-eurovision-2021/

Edit: The guy who does this wrote a really detailed guide to Eurovision winners by bpm, key etc - that was strangely fascinating. I can't find it now and the only thing I can remember is that key changes are lethal.

army of the dead.

nice mix of heist and zombie movie.
had me pretty much on the edge of the seat.
enjoyable few hours.

Solmyr

I liked Army of the Dead too, quite entertaining.

Army of the Dead watchers did you catch
the shout out to American Werewolf in London?
:ccr

Admiral Yi
Christ, it's an anti-masker vicitmization movie.
:lmfao:

I'm about halfway through the second season of Killing Eve. It's very good.
No lesbian sex, so far.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

I love that show. It started losing a bit of steam in the last season but it's enormously enjoyable.

Josquius

It lost its steam in the second for me. Just gets too samey and silly.

I loved the second season, but they didn't seem to know where to go with the third. The upcoming fourth season will be the last.

Entertaining but the foreshadowing could maybe have been a little more subtle. :P

The Brain

Black Sea. Jude Law dives for Communist gold in the title body of water. It's not an important or great movie, but it's not entirely without merit. There's a lot of Russians and Russian, at first I was afraid that the movie was a Putin vehicle for normalizing Russian control of the Crimea or similar, but if so it's weird that they push
the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and Stalin helping Hitler, and that the Russian navy plays pretty much no part in the movie
. In among the clichés there's some decent group conflict and stuff going on. It's nice that they look for a
Nazi German
* submarine but don't make anything more of that
(no zombies, nothing special about it except the gold it carries)
.

*
Soviet gold was loaded onto a German sub in spring 1941 for transport to Germany. They didn't transport the gold by train because a sub is cooler and makes the movie possible.
Josquius

I've been watching an American comedy series called superstore.

It's so simple and by the book... But this is part of what makes it watchable. Its nice half your brain is asleep already tv.

I've given thought to checking The New Girl because Zoey Whatshername is so frickin cute.  Watched a youtube clip and was disabused of that notion.  It's a throwback humor free old style sitcom, like Two and a Half Men.

I'm giving up halfway through Army of the Dead.  It's a bad movie.
