There have been several talking vagina movies, so I guess the time was ripe for a talking boobs movie.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I agree Better Call Saul is better.  I went into Breaking Bad with yuge expectations.  The fact that Breaking Bad is the Gobi Desert when it comes to eye candy certainly doesn't help.

Krysten Ritter is very pretty.

1.)  CB and I were discussing this last night and we decided that Courier Font works well for manifestos as well as its primary purpose: enemies lists.

And what about movie scripts?  :(

I don't know, I've never written a movie script.

So about lists of enemies...

It's the hot new trend of 2021.  It's easy, way more fun than bullet journaling, can be adapted to any worldview and requires no more sophisticated equipment than word processing software that can use courier font (or a typewriter if you an authentic old school experience.)  It also serves a valuable function, if you become a dictator you'll want to have one of these.  Look at Maduro, he clearly didn't have an enemies list and has had to make them up as he went along.  The result has been sad as he's blamed his problems on managers of electronics stores, toilet paper importers and the telephone company - don't be that guy!

So let's get started with a simple list of people who need a beat down:

Enemies List:

The Trump children
Social Media Influencers
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Anyone with more than 100,000 Twitter followers
The Squad
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell
The QAnon Buffalo Shaman guy
Anyone who called themselves part of "The Resistance" between 2017-2020

I think it's a good start.  Some of these are obviously participation award enemies; the Buffalo Shaman is more of a danger to himself than anyone else and The Resistance was entirely harmless, but I'm sure it would build their self esteem to know they were on somebody's enemies list.  A good enemies list, in addition to being fun, provides social utility.

Just as a note it's important to make your list long; you don't want to be like Stalin and run out of enemies then having to make up zany conspiracies like The Thirteen Families or having to blame the Jews (yes, it's a classic, but it's been done .)

Suppose you want to change things up.  Tiffany Trump hasn't made enough of a spectacle out of herself to really merit being on the list, and Barron is still a child; (while the odds are against him,) he might not grow up to be like his parents.  Also I only put Billie Eilish because her celebrity seems to be the sort that has a limited shelf life; in a couple years she probably will wish that she had been put in an inescapable death trap; on the other hand she might end up like Leslie Gore and take on a different role in the music industry.  While you might be tempted to simply start over there's no need; just strike through the names you want to take out and add new ones at the bottom like this:

Enemies List:

The Trump children
Social Media Influencers
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Anyone with more than 100,000 Twitter followers
The Squad
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell
The QAnon Buffalo Shaman guy
Anyone who called themselves part of "The Resistance" between 2017-2020
Donald Trump Junior
Eric Trump
Ivanka Trump
Ashton Kutcher

There, much better and it looks great!  Now it's your turn!  Don't think you have to get it perfect on the first try, an enemies list should always be a work in progress.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Seems like you've given plenty of thought to the enemies list, Sav.

I had an enemies list on the old forum; but I'm afraid it's been lost.  :(

I think it would be funny to make a parody of all the craft websites with crafts for megalomaniacs (write your own manifesto, make your own enemies list, how to find evil henchmen, how to design your own snappy uniforms, lap cat vs. guard dogs - what's the best evil pet); but I'm pretty sure that would get me on an FBI list.

We're liking Cobra-Kai so far.  A few episodes into the 2nd season.

I've watched more television in the last year than in the last decade.

I started watching a show on Amazon called Paragon. I can't figure i tout. I only watched one episode but I'm confused as to whether there is a suck dubbing being done; terrible actors; or just terrible dialogue on top of terrible actors.

Brexit: The Uncivil War. Benedict Cummingsbatch masterminds the Brexit leave campaign. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but how truthful is it (obviously it's a movie and not a documentary)? I get the impression that it was designed to be palatable to people from both sides. Cummings comes across as a pretty likeable character, which isn't what I've heard here and other places. The villains of the piece are hidebound remainers who were left in the dust by Leave's modern campaign methods. The end texts mention unspecified violations of Electoral Law, but place more emphasis on one billion targeted ads from the Leave campaign, and the only question that raises is why weren't there one billion targeted ads from the Remain campaign?

Yeah. It's based on Tim Shipman's book about it and he has very good Tory and Leave sources - so those are the people whose story he's telling. I think it's pretty truthful, from the perspective of people involved in the Leave campaign and Tories involved in the Remain campaign. Matthew Elliot, Cummings' wife and Peter Mandelson have all said it's pretty accurate.
