You people should be sent to a re-education camp.

Gremlins. Another great movie. The bar scene is reminiscent of a few company parties when I was in the army. Pure mayhem.

I've not seen it either.  I think I was a bit old to be in the target demographic (I was 23 and already out of college when it was released).  OTOH, I'm not sure that I would have been interested in seeing it when I was 16 or 12, either.

I missed it too but went back and watched as an adult. Mistake. And Labyrinth was even worse.

I did see Gremlins as a kid. Even had it on a lunchbox.

I caught maybe a reel of Labyrinth on a suggestion and it was suckulicious.

Just saw Transpotting II.  Not good.  The first one was essentially a pitch black comedy, but this one is deadly earnest.  It is the Big Chill of Scottish junkies.

Haven't hit a bad one yet, got two left.

Wish I could say the same. "Crocodile" (the third episode) was awful.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I agree that it was the weakest, but I thought it was well acted and had enjoyable small moments (
the memory triggers, the guinea pig chekhov's gun
).

I'm recording and watching Breaking Bad marathon, again. Must be the third time. I love that show, the cast is great  and the story kind of a dark comedic crime story. Great characters and writers. It's sometimes hilarious and also quite nasty the predicaments the main cast gets themselves into and what they wind up doing to get out of trouble.
