Started watching The Handmaidens Tale.

Damn, this is depressing. There is a lot to like about this show - they do this incredible contrast between morality and law.

I can't help but imagine Pence and Cruz watching this and thinking "ZOMG THAT WOULD BE SO FUCKING GREAT!!!!".

Beebs would be all "Well, there are some concerns, but on the other hand, if these people would just follow the law...."

It is silly in some ways, but I liked it and I didn't think it ended up sucking.

Did not like.  Mumbo jumbo science, melodramatic orchestration, uncontrollable weeping.  Teh big reveal was a major letdown. Bleh.

Life - A nearer futurey take on alien. It's ok. Though the lack of contact with earth makes no sense

Handmaiden's Tale is incredible.

Mom always tells me it reminds her of when she was young. Oh, 1950s Spain, such a wonderful place to be a woman.
